The Cannabis Can! 2020 Virtual Food Drive will help sustain our neighbors and bring the cannabis industry together in this time of physical distancing. The Greater Cleveland Food Bank works to ensure that everyone in our community has the nutritious food they need every day.
Many are recieving food bank assistance for the first time. Overall, food demand is 59% higher than usual and food demand for children facing hunger increased by 2½ times since March. Online monetary donations are the best way to help immediately.
$1.00 = 4 nutritious meals
We achieved our initial goal $1,000 = 4,000 meals!
2020 isn't over and neither is hunger in Ohio.
NEW GOAL $1,700 = 6,800 meals
Prior to COVID-19, one in six Ohioans was food insecure, and now even more people may not know where their next meal will come from. Your tax-deductible donation will help alleviate this uncertainty.
Cannabis Can! is a civic organization that supports Ohio communities and creates connections between the cannabis industry, its supporters, and Ohioans at large through charitable opportunities. Founded in 2019 by Dr. Bridget Williams of Green Harvest Health (Columbus and Cleveland), Ally Reaves of Midwest CannaWomen (Cleveland), and Solomon Oyeyemi of Green Ideas and Wellness (Cincinnati), Cannabis Can! gives back by helping those in need and creating connections between Ohio cannabis businesses and the communities they serve. Dr. Williams seeks to reduce the stigma of cannabis and thank Ohioans, saying “Ohio has graciously welcomed cannabis businesses into their communities and we should give back by working together to support our neighbors.” Cannabis Can!’s mission is to strengthen communities by bringing people together, fighting hunger, and protecting planet Earth.
