The Cannabis Can! Virtual Food Drive will help sustain our neighbors and bring the cannabis industry together in this time of physical distancing. The Greater Cleveland Food Bank works to ensure that everyone in our communities has the nutritious food they need every day. At recent drive-through food distributions, half of households included children or seniors, and more than a third were seeking help from a food bank for the first time. Online monetary donations are also the best way to help as we stay home to flatten the COVID-19 curve.
$1.00 = 4 nutritious meals
OUR GOAL $1,000 = 4,000 nutritious meals
Prior to COVID-19, one in six Ohioans was food insecure, and now even more people may not know where their next meal will come from. Your donation will help alleviate this uncertainty.
Cannabis Can! is a civic organization that supports Ohio communities and creates connections between the cannabis industry, its supporters, and Ohioans at large through charitable opportunities. Founded by Dr. Bridget Williams of Green Harvest Health (Columbus and Cleveland), Ally Reaves of Midwest CannaWomen (Cleveland), and Solomon Oyeyemi of Green Ideas and Wellness (Cincinnati) in 2019, Cannabis Can! gives back by helping those in need and creating connections between Ohio cannabis businesses and the communities they serve. Dr. Williams seeks to reduce the stigma of cannabis and thank Ohioans, saying “Ohio has graciously welcomed cannabis businesses into their communities and we should give back by working together to support our neighbors.” Cannabis Can!’s mission is to strengthen communities by bringing people together, fighting hunger, and protecting planet Earth.
