CWRU Biomedical Engineering Grad Student Association has joined the Greater Cleveland Food Bank in the fight against hunger by starting a Virtual Food Drive! You can help us feed our neighbors in greater Cleveland by donating to this page (and sharing it with family and friends)

The Greater Cleveland Food Bank works to ensure that everyone in our communities has the nutritious food they need every day. They distribute food to over 1,000 local food pantries, hot meal programs, shelters, mobile pantries, programs for the elderly, and other nonprofits. The Food Bank also prepares nutritious meals in their on-site kitchen, which our organization has helped out with before.

Threats to food assistance programs during the governement shutdown are putting extra strain on food banks everywhere. Throughout Northeast Ohio, 1 in 7 people are food insecure, meaning they may not know where their next meal will come from. Your support can help alleviate this uncertainty. Every $1 raised will help provide 3 meals for our neighbors in need!
