We've joined the Greater Cleveland Food Bank in the fight against hunger by starting a Virtual Food Drive! You can help us reach our fundraising goal by donating to our page and sharing with family and friends.

The Greater Cleveland Food Bank works to ensure that everyone in our communities has the nutritious food they need every day. They do this by distributing food to nearly 1,000 local food pantries, hot meal programs, shelters, mobile pantries, programs for the elderly, and other nonprofit agencies. The Food Bank also prepares nutritious meals in their on-site kitchen and assists eligible low income Northeast Ohioans with signing up for the SNAP program. In total, the Food Bank serve more than 300,000 people each year.

Throughout Northeast Ohio, one in six people are food insecure – meaning they may not know where their next meal will come from. Your support will help alleviate this uncertainty. Every dollar that we raise will help provide four meals for our neighbors in need!

3rd and 4th grade students are busy learning about nutrition, malnutrition, a balanced diet, food deserts, and how we can solve the problem of hunger in our community of Cleveland. Students will be educating our school on the top ten food items that the food bank needs donated and what we can do to help them serve our community.  The top ten food items the food bank needs are: peanut butter, boxed cereal, tomato/pasta sauce, dry goods (pasta/rice), canned goods (vegetables, beef stew), canned tuna, apple juice, and oats. 

 We will have a tracker located outside the admissions office all week. Check out our progress throughout the week as we are reaching our goal! Could we go beyond $8,000??.......
