On Sunday, July 20th from 2p to 8p, Buildings and Food is throwing a Block Party inside Taste of Tremont with live music, DJs, food, and drink to raise $30k for the Greater Cleveland Food Bank—the largest hunger relief organization in Northeast Ohio.
Legendary performers Wesley Bright and the Honeytones (along with an expanded horn section) will take a rare break from retirement to headline the event. The party will have DJ sets by NiccNac and Dom Rambo, and be emceed by DJ Terkalerk,
For food and drink, all of Buildings and Food’s brands will be represented. Guests can expect Eastern European fare from Prosperity Social Club, grilled burgers from Good Company, beer and seltzers from Old 86, wine from La Cave du Vin, cocktails from the Spotted Owl, cold coffee drinks (with and without alcohol) from Peristyle Coffee, and sweets from the Buildings and Food Pastry Team. Partygoers can also expect fun from each brand such as raffles, giveaways, balloon art, and more!
The Food Bank Block Party will be a “party within a party” at Taste of Tremont—Cleveland Scene’s 2025 “Best Street Fair,” which showcases the best of Tremont’s food, art and entertainment. Buildings and Food is
co-sponsoring Taste of Tremont with Tremont Athletic, and will offer live music, food and alcoholic beverages in the Jefferson Avenue Library Parking Lot.
This will be Buildings and Food’s second annual party at Taste of Tremont. All proceeds will benefit the
company’s favorite charity: the Greater Cleveland Food Bank. The fundraising this goal is $30,000.
Buildings and Food is asking for a $40 donation to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank to attend the party, and food and drinks (100% of the proceeds from which will be donated) will be available for purchase. Additionally, all-inclusive wristbands can be purchased for $150 from buildings-food.com/blockparty.
For guests looking for an even more elevated experience, Buildings and Food will also offer a VIP wristband, which includes access to a roped off tent, with exclusive food by Good Company Chef Ryan Williams, and wine curated by B-F’s Director of Wine, Sean Cathcart. VIP Guests will also have a prime view of the stage.
This is Buildings and Food’s biggest fundraiser of the year. After raising 29.4k for the inaugural block party event last year the company is eager to surpass their $30k goal for 2025.
“We’re excited to bring the music, food, drink, and camaraderie of the Buildings and Food Block Party back for a second year, featuring Wesley Bright and the Honeytones and benefiting the Greater Cleveland Food Bank. Sharing the marquee sponsorship of Taste of Tremont itself this year will allow us to bring the party closer to the street, and I sincerely hope that the mission will connect with enough folks that we can meet our goal of raising $30,000 this year. Come see Wesley and his brilliant band, and our great DJs, dance, enjoy our incredible food and drink, and support a great cause!”
— Will Hollingsworth, Founder and CEO, Buildings and Food
